    Description

At Amazon Worldwide Returns & ReCommerce (WWR&R), we aspire to zero:

Zero cost of returns. Zero waste. Zero defects. Zero carbon footprint.

We are an agile, cross-functional organization building scalable, planet-forward solutions to maximize product lifecycle value and recovery. Our mission is to innovate the future of reverse logistics by developing channels and systems that extend product life, minimize waste, and create new value for Amazon, our customers, and the environment.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead strategy and execution for high-impact product areas that sit at the final touchpoints of the ReCommerce journey. You will own and scale programs that recover value from Amazon’s overstock, returned, and damaged inventory through resale, recycling, and liquidation channels—while delivering exceptional operational performance and cost efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities

As a Senior PM, you will:

Own end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, and execution for recovery and liquidation pathways in the ReCommerce lifecycle.

Build and scale systems that handle overstock returns, resale optimization, and sustainable recovery mechanisms (e.g., liquidation, recycling, donation).

Drive cost efficiency and recovery optimization through innovation, automation, and new channel development.

Partner with vendor management and business development teams to support and scale 20+ partnerships across resale, B2B, liquidation, and recycling.

Develop and refine pricing strategies and recovery models through supply-demand analysis and data-driven insights.

Collaborate with engineering, program, UX, and analytics teams to build durable, scalable solutions that meet business goals.

Define and monitor key performance metrics, ensure delivery excellence, and maintain high standards of operational performance.

Communicate complex ideas clearly in product documents, strategy papers, and stakeholder updates—including to senior Amazon leadership.

    Key job responsibilities

As a Sr. Product Manager, you are the end-to-end owner of your product's vision, strategy, and execution. You will define the product roadmap and bring your vision to life by leading a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, program managers, and other product owners. You will drive day-to-day product development from design through to release. Your product requirements are concise, with clear, measurable success criteria. You are an effective negotiator, make smart trade-offs without sacrificing quality, and drive appropriate schedules. You use data to influence our business strategy and technical priorities, and escalate when necessary without damaging relationships. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate accurately, crisply, and comfortably in various settings. You independently represent your products and the product team and are comfortable communicating with senior executives as well as with business and technical stakeholders.
