Your Next Opportunity: Fund Accountant – San Francisco

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Fund Accountant to join our San Francisco office. This is a high-impact role with immediate responsibility and visibility across fund operations, reporting, and investor relations. You’ll work closely with a tight-knit accounting team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

+ Manage general ledgers for funds and general partners, including investment activity, expenses, and accruals

+ Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements

+ Support year-end audits and tax processes

+ Oversee fund cash flows, capital calls, and distributions

+ Partner with Investor Relations to respond to LP inquiries

+ Contribute to ad hoc analysis and special projects

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

+ Experience: 1.5 to 4 years in accounting or fund accounting; public audit experience with investment management clients is a strong plus

+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics

+ Certifications: CPA license or progress toward CPA preferred

Preferable Skills

+ Strong organizational and time management abilities

+ Excellent communication skills and professional presence

+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
