    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Position Summary:

    As an OTG Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician, you will be responsible for general building maintenance in our airports. By utilizing a variety of skills, encompassing most of the construction trade, you will maintain OTG standards while performing daily field service requirements.

    Responsibilities:

    - Responsible for maintenance and general upkeep of OTG facilities as directed by Senior Facility Manager and/or Lead Tech

     

    - Perform minor plumbing, electrical repairs as requested

     

    - Perform general maintenance duties such as painting, light carpentry, lighting repairs, furniture repairs, and lock repairs when requested

     

    - Perform monthly life safety and furniture checklist surveys as directed by Senior Facility Manager

     

    - Perform general cleaning duties of furniture, lighting, signage, and high dusting areas as requested

     

    - Assist Lead Technician and other Technician in two-man jobs that require assistance

     

    - Work with Lead Technician to ensure all work service request are successfully executed and work orders and related documents are properly input and closed out in a timely manner

     

    - Request equipment and supplies for purposes of maintaining an inventory and ensuring availability of required items to complete the necessary repairs

     

    - Respond to emergency situations during and after hours to resolve immediate issues of life safety, operational stops, brand damaging, or security concerns

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

    Education:

    - High School Diploma or High School equivalent

    Qualifications:

    - 3+ years of experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting

     

    - Experience in restaurant equipment troubleshooting and repair is preferred

     

    - Demonstrate ability to communicate well with operations, vendors, co-worker, and management maintaining an effective working relationship

     

    - Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment

     

    - Physically able to climb ladders and to lift and carry 50 lbs.

     

    - Process knowledge of PC and/or PDA for work order system and e-mails

     

    + Pay Rate - $28 to $35 Per Hour
