Job Title: Shipper

Job Description

The Shipper role involves categorizing freight, organizing and palletizing products, and working collaboratively in a team to ensure efficient deliveries. This position requires attention to detail and adherence to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

+ Follow instructions from computers, paperwork, or supervisors to prepare shipments.

+ Count and check items before shipping and report any missing or damaged items.

+ Pack boxes, add labels, and ensure accurate weight measurements.

+ Load trucks or containers manually.

+ Use computers to track product locations and shipment status.

+ Report any broken equipment or issues to supervisors.

+ Maintain a clean and safe work area.

+ Complete daily reports and other necessary paperwork.

+ Adhere to company rules and safety guidelines.

+ Assist with other tasks as required.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in shipping and warehouse operations.

+ Ability to lift 40 pounds.

+ Proficiency in using RF Scanners, receivers, and in picking and loading tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in material handling and inventory management.

+ Forklift operation skills.

Work Environment

This position offers multiple shifts: 1st shift from 6am to 2:30pm, 2nd shift from 2pm to 10:30pm, and 3rd shift from 10pm to 6:30am. The work environment emphasizes safety and cleanliness, with a focus on teamwork and accurate handling of shipments.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.30 - $22.80/hr.
