    NOW HIRING TIRE MOUNTERS ON 1st SHIFT (October 6th Start Date)

    Job Description

    + We are seeking a dedicated Tire Assembly Technician responsible for handling and assembling tires and related components. The role involves physical tasks requiring strength and precision, contributing directly to our manufacturing and shipping processes.

    Responsibilities

    + Lift products or materials weighing up to 70 lbs, up to 30 times per hour.

    + Perform barcoding for part numbers and shipping.

    + Lift large tires and hubs up to 60 lbs, up to 30 times per hour.

    + Stack assemblies on skids for shipping.

    + Assemble and install valve stems.

    + Maintain cleanliness by sweeping the work area.

    + Mount large and small agriculture tires.

    + Conduct repair, inspection, and troubleshooting of tire assemblies.

    + Use hand and power tools for various assembly tasks.

    + Perform lubrication tasks and operate forklifts and other equipment.

    Essential Skills

    + Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and power tools.

    + Prior experience working with tires.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in general labor or tire shop environments.

    + Knowledge of equipment operation and troubleshooting.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a modern facility with around 30 employees, with potential for growth. The shift is Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional Saturday work if business demands increase. Enjoy a collaborative atmosphere where your contributions are valued.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to hire position based out of Waterloo, Iowa.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
