Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician will provide critical maintenance support across two locations, ensuring the smooth operation of all plant mechanical systems and production equipment. This includes performing preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, and troubleshooting on equipment such as fillers, processing machines, packaging machinery, and robotics and automation systems.

Responsibilities

+ Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment.

+ Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, drives, valves, conveyors, and belts.

+ Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as electrical components.

+ Ensure all mechanical systems operate efficiently and safely.

+ Adhere to GMP regulations and food safety protocols to prevent contamination.

Essential Skills

+ Strong mechanical aptitude.

+ Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, belts, motors, pumps, and valves.

+ Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems.

+ Knowledge of GMP regulations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in the military working on airplanes, trucks, etc.

+ Experience as a maintenance electrician, electro-mechanical technician, utility technician, or ammonia repair specialist.

Work Environment

The role involves working 2nd and 3rd shifts from 2pm to 10pm and 10pm to 6am, Monday to Friday. The environment is very warm and clean, adhering to strict production deadlines. Employees must wear clean pants, hair nets, and steel-toed boots or composite shoes, with an allowance provided for footwear. Jewelry, piercings, and nail polish are not permitted.

This is a Permanent position based out of Germantown, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $66560.00/yr.
