Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to lead the design, development, testing, and supervision of electrical equipment and systems. This role involves creating detailed schematics, engineering drawings, and specifications for electrical panels, conduit layouts, wire harnesses, and control systems. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, creativity, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Education & Experience Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
+ 3-5 years of relevant experience in electrical design and manufacturing required.
Key Skills & Competencies:
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
+ Proficiency in creating electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
+ Experience with CAD software and other engineering design tools.
+ Ability to perform detailed calculations and apply electrical theory to real-world applications.
+ Knowledge of wire termination processes and electrical panel design.
+ Team-oriented with a high attention to detail.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components including machinery controls, wiring, conduit layouts, cabling, and electrical panels.
+ Create detailed design drawings and specifications using CAD software.
+ Evaluate designs for cost-effectiveness, reliability, and safety.
+ Simulate and test machine/system operations to ensure optimal performance.
+ Investigate and analyze competitor and vendor products for benchmarking and improvement.
+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives in design and manufacturing processes.
+ Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
