    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Writer with Business Analyst skills to document critical IT projects and processes across our technical teams. This role will support both field and corporate technology and contribute directly to our transition toward agile methodologies by gathering requirements for many current projects.     This exempt, salaried position will be initially a temporary four month assignment, with the opportunity to transition to a regular, fulltime position based on demonstrated performance and the Company’s ongoing needs. The salary for the position is $1,923.07 weekly, or $100k annualized. The role is based out of the Company’s corporate offices in Newton Highlands, MA, and supports a hybrid (combination office and work from home) work arrangement.

    + Assist in gathering and clarifying requirements for ongoing and new projects by interviewing project members, end users, and other interested stakeholders

    + Document IT projects and technical processes across Software Engineering, IT, and Development teams

    + Create user guides, process documentation, and internal manuals tailored to various technical audiences

    + Act as a key contributor in our agile transformation by helping facilitate the SCRUM process

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Skills and Competencies

    + Experience working directly with business stakeholders

    + Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical content into clear documentation

    + Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently to meet deadlines

    + SCRUM experience is a plus, but not required

    + Any hands-on experience in software engineering, IT, QA, or business analysis is a bonus, though not required

    Education and Experience

    + Minimum of 5 years in a technical writing or documentation-focused role within software engineering, IT, or related fields

    + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

    ENVIRONMENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    + 90% of work in a climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions.

    + While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, reach with arms and hands, see, talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may incidentally be required to stoop, kneel and crouch, lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 10 pounds.
