    Medical Practice Representative

     

    Shift: 1st Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

    Pay Rate: $18–19/Hour

    6 Month Contract to Hire: Long-term & Permanent position with a company that offers opportunities for growth

    About the Role

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Practice Representative to join our esteemed client’s outpatient team in Baltimore. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of Maryland’s largest healthcare providers, known for delivering exceptional patient care across the region.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Register and schedule outpatient appointments

    + Perform charge entry and collect co-pays

    + Manage medical records: pull, refile, and maintain documentation

    + Answer patient inquiries via phone with professionalism and empathy

    + Process referrals and release of medical records information

    + Support facility and professional collections optimization

    + File loose reports and maintain filing systems

    Qualifications

    + 1–2+ years of experience in medical scheduling, reception, administration, phone operations, co-pay collection, and prior authorizations

    + Experience with Cerner EMR is a strong plus

    + Excellent customer service and communication skills

    + Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
