    Jovian Concepts, Inc is looking to hire a Network Engineer Level 1 for a great opportunity in the Annapolis Junction area.

    Responsibilities:

    + Architect and deploy secure, high-performance network solutions

    + Keep our LANs running smoothly with hands-on administration and troubleshooting

    + Monitor and optimize dataflow to reduce latency and boost throughput

    + Capture and analyze network performance data to drive improvements

    + Configure and integrate front-end and back-end systems for seamless communication

    + Collaborate on mission-driven network designs and architecture

    + Translate performance metrics into actionable system requirements

    Requirements

    An active and current TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph is required to be considered. No CCA's will be accepted at this time.

     

    + Bachelor's degree + 5 years of experience, or Master's degree + 3 years of experience, or no degree + 10 years of hands-on Network Engineering experience

    + An Information Assurance Technical (IAT) level I baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M is required.

    + Solid grasp of secure network design, configuration, and maintenance

    + Experience with performance monitoring tools and data analysis

    + Ability to optimize complex systems for speed and reliability

    + Experience in classified or mission-critical environments

    + Familiarity with enterprise-scale architecture and secure communications

    + Strong troubleshooting instincts and a proactive mindset

    + Comfort working independently and collaboratively under pressure

    + Clear, concise documentation and communication skills

    + A passion for making networks faster, smarter, and more secure
