    CTG is seeking to fill an Accounting Analyst II opening for our client in Richland, WA.

     

    **Location:** Richland, WA

    **Duration:** 6 months

    Duties:

    + Provide financial guidance and analytical support regarding system administration and development (online journal entry, general ledger, property, etc.).

    + Analyze complex financial issues including taxes, debt issuances/refinancing, and special projects.

    + Monitor cash and cost budgeting for employee benefits, debt service, depreciation, and overhead allocations.

    + Maintain project ledgers and prepare monthly/annual financial reports, surveys, statements, and tax certifications.

    + Support annual financial close and compliance audit processes.

    + Perform research and analysis for special financial issues and assist in developing financial strategies.

    + Maintain ledgers in accordance with FERC and GAAP, including account reconciliations and journal entries.

    + Assist in preparing financial policies and procedures.

    + Interface with internal managers/supervisors and external agencies.

    Skills:

    + Knowledge of financial and accounting concepts, including GAAP and state/federal tax laws.

    + Advanced personal computer skills.

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    + Ability to work with all organizational levels effectively.

    + Analytical skills for evaluating multiple solutions and making recommendations.

    Experience:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with 6 years of experience; or AA degree plus 8 years; or high school diploma/equivalent plus 12 years.

    + Experience with monthly and financial closing processes, compliance, and financial audits.

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field from an accredited college or university.

    Desired Education and Experience:

    + CPA or CMA certification preferred.

    + Familiarity with ERP systems, Passport, and/or PeopleSoft.

    + Leadership and performance optimization skills.

     

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

    The expected base salary for this position ranges from $38.00 to $57.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
