E-Commerce & Customer Service Specialist Irving, Texas | Full-Time | Off-Road Industry Focus Are you a data-driven e-commerce pro who thrives at the intersection of tech, operations, and adventure? Off-Road Place is looking for a passionate and organized E-Commerce Specialist to take charge of our Shopify-based platform and offer amazing customer service. We’re not just another storefront—we’re a premium outfitter for the off-road and overland community. That means we value precision, passion, and people who know what a suspension lift and 35s mean. What You’ll Do E-Commerce Operations * Manage the daily operations of our Shopify backend: product uploads, data tagging, app integrations, and fulfillment logic. * Own the entire product catalog process—SKU merges, metadata optimization, suspension bundle creation, and schema management. * Coordinate and approve site updates and UX enhancements from external dev agencies. * Process manual orders and organize product categories with a high level of accuracy. * Ensure accurate product data, including fitment info (e.g., Year/Make/Model) and attributes. * Consolidate product data from multiple sources into our unified database. * Set up and maintain Shopify Collective accounts, ensuring smooth vendor onboarding and data sync. * Manage fulfillment tools like SparkShipping and Intuitive Shipping for streamlined order routing. * Cultivate strong vendor relationships through clear communication and consistent collaboration. Customer Service * Respond to customers about questions and order updates * Answer phone calls to provide assistance and streamline customers to the right person * Respond to customer reviews as well as solicit reviews to customers * Monitor social channels to help offer assistance and gain customer referals Financial & Compliance Oversight * Maintain internal P&L tracking for e-commerce sales, including product costs, shipping, and profitability. * Oversee digital tax compliance setup, including transitions from Avalara to Numeral and Shopify Tax. What You Bring * 3+ year’s experience managing Shopify or comparable e-commerce platforms. * Proficiency with tools like Matrixify, Klaviyo, Google Analytics/Search Console. * Familiarity with drop shipping, MAP pricing, and multi-channel fulfillment. * Proven experience building a brand and product catalog * A proficient understanding of digital marketing and how to reach an audience with an omni-channel approach * A sharp analytical mindset with a talent for process improvement. * Comfortable managing third-party developers and working cross-functionally. * Bonus: You live and breathe the off-road or overland lifestyle.
