    Sr. Analyst, Operations & Reporting

    Overall Job Summary

    This position is responsible collecting and analyzing operations related data, and other tasks in support of Store Operations with ownership spanning project management, financial reporting, and communication of data. This position also leads direct support of implementation of projects and collaboration at various levels.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

    + Identify root causes for business problems through analysis of data and provide business feedback and implement solutions

    + Manage the compiling, analyzing, and reporting in excess of 50 reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. Ensure reporting meets needs, providing suggestions for improvements and recommendations for new data analysis as new insights are taken into account.

    + Serve as the subject matter expert for various projects on behalf of the Store Operations Department, including project creation, development, inter-department liaison, or leadership.

    + Oversee project creation, development and implementation as it relates to operations planning and analysis data aimed at process improvements throughout the Store Operations department.

    + Collaborate and communicate with various levels of the company to ensure proper data is used in all areas and insights are shared as appropriate.

    + Create and maintain robust pipelines of data needed. Identify gaps and engage in continuous improvement efforts.

    + Provide follow through on Operations priorities and process development activities.

    + Own auditing schedules and tasks required to maintain integrity of data and processes.

    + Gain and utilize technical skills to perform tasks in an accurate and efficient manner

    Required Qualifications

    _Experience:_ 5+ years experience in financial and/or data analysis required. Retail or operations experience is preferred.

     

    _Education:_ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Any combination of education and experience will be considered.

     

    _Professional Certifications:_ none

    Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities

    + Must have advanced MS Excel, and PowerBI skills.

    + Must also be proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Powerpoint.

    + Knowledge of Kronos for Retail, SQL, Snowflake, Business Objects, Alteryx, MS VBA, and general accounting principles a significant plus.

    + Other skills: Strong analytical and communication skills, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. Deadline driven with demonstrated project management and organization skills.

    + Strong strategic, problem solving, and decision-making skills

    + Robust industry experience to drive best in class use of technology and processes

    + Problem solving, communication, organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.

    + Refined organizational skills and high attention to detail to meet deadlines

    + Good written and verbal communications skills field operators and executive leadership

    + Ability to work independently and with little supervision in a project management environment
