    The State Income Tax Manager will lead all aspects of state income tax compliance, reporting, research and planning. The State Income Tax Manager will play a critical role in managing state filing requirements across multiple jurisdictions, identifying tax savings and planning opportunities, monitoring nexus exposure, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all state-related filings.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

    + 5 years related work experience in corporate income tax including 3 years in state and local income tax

    + In-depth knowledge of state income/franchise tax laws, apportionment methodologies, and nexus/unitary rules.

    + Experience with tax provision and compliance software (e.g., Corptax, OneSource).

    + Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment

    PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    + Insurance or financial services industry experience preferred.

    + CPA

     

    Please note that this role is **HYBRID** with an in-office requirement of 3 days a week.

    Compensation: $90,900.00 - $164,200.00
