    Job Description

    Our client is seeking a seasoned expert in blow molding to join their innovation team. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving material and process innovation, with a strong focus on cost-effective solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of blow molding and materials science, and will be adept at conducting research to identify optimal materials and manufacturing strategies.

     

    They must be comfortable presenting their findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, including C-suite executives, and will be responsible for executing these initiatives from concept through implementation.

    Skills and Requirements

    - 8+ years in product design and development, specifically with plastics

    - Deep understanding of additive manufacturing processes (e.g., FDM, SLA, SLS)

     

    - Hands-on experience with 3D printing technologies and design for additive manufacturing

    - Strong background in materials science, especially polymers and thermoplastics

    - Experience with blow molding, injection molding, or similar plastic forming techniques (e.g., playground equipment, toy design, Reference Companies: Step2, Toy R Us blow molding, toy design)
