Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a highly scientific and technically advanced engineer to join and to lead the development of a new product line focused on thermo cooling and heating chillers for data center environments for a top client in the Houston, TX area. This person will have a background in designing or implementing cooling systems for server farms or high-performance computing environments.

Skills and Requirements

Masters or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Energy systems Engineering or Chemical Engineering

10 years+ experience in a Data Center Environment

Prior experience designing, simulating, and optimizing cooling systems for high-density data centers

Familiarity with heat transfer & fluid dynamics, HVAC systems & Chillers, Thermal Simulation Tools (ANSYS, COMSOL, CFD) and emerging cooling technologies - like immersion cooling, cold plate cooling and heat reclamation systems Leadership experience
