The Group Activities Facilitator III is responsible for providing direct support to individuals with traumatic brain injuries (TBI) through one-on-one and group activities as a part of Living Resources’ Structured Day Program. Our Day Program offers a wide range of groups that aim to teach life skills, improve cognitive skills, and increase independence. Groups may focus on support with interpersonal relationships, injury acceptance, communication, or other meaningful topics. Living Resources also offers a variety unique group activities, including art, music, cooking, and gaming groups. This position is responsible for facilitating or co-facilitating groups and ensuring that services are delivered in accordance with the respective goals of each individual. The Group Activities Facilitator III is responsible for aligning and demonstrating agency values in carrying out the duties of this position.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Facilitate unique group activities to meet the goals and needs of participants
• Develop innovative programming and collaborate with Structured Day Program Manager to assist in planning events and community-based activities
• Serve as lead point of contact when Structured Day Manager and Assistant Director are unavailable
• Provide support to Clinical Interns
• Collaborate with Program Manager to establish a weekly schedule and service delivery targets
• Collaborate with Service Coordinators, transportation providers, and other providers
• Participate in Team Meetings
• Accurately document services provided, progress, and outcomes within three days of service
• Provide mentorship, training, and guidance to Group Activities Specialist I & II
Hours: M-F 8:00am-4:00pm with flexibility to work later on some evenings
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
• At least 18 years old with High School Diploma or equivalent
• Over two years of relevant experience or education
• Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
• Degree in Human Services or related field
• More than two years of relevant training or experience, including facilitation of groups
• Prior experience providing services to individuals with traumatic brain injuries
• Personal Care Attendant (PCA) or related certification
• Experience in wellness elements such as exercise, music, art, cooking, and/or healthy living
Physical Requirements:
• Able to lift 15 pounds
• Support participant’s success in groups, navigating their SDP schedule, and during meals
• If PCA, Medical Assistant, or related field, assist participants with personal care needs

Salary Description
