Junior Account Leader (JAL)

Who We’re Looking For:
+ Eager, motivated individual ready to learn and grow their career within IT Consulting Sales
+ MBA or Master’s in Business, Marketing, Cmputer Science or related IT field.
+ 1–2 years of sales/business development experience is preferred.
+ Strong communication, presentation, and relationship skills.
+ Proactive, curious, and eager to learn.

Role Overview:
The Junior Account Leader (JAL) role is designed to groom high-potential talent into future Account Executives by leveraging HTC’s strengths — faster decision-making, closer customer access, and multi-industry exposure. In your first year, you will focus on building sales pipelines, deepening industry knowledge, and contributing to the development of business unit (BU) capability, without the pressure of immediate sales targets.

+ Full Lifecycle Sales Exposure – Participate in the entire sales process, from lead generation to deal closure.

Key Responsibilities: Pipeline Generation & Lead Development
+ Identify and qualify prospective clients within your BU’s target industry.
+ Engage prospects through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and industry events.
+ Schedule and coordinate qualified meetings with senior decision-makers.
+ Generate opportunity pipeline and work toward closing the deals
+ Maintain accurate CRM records.
Customer Relationship:
+ Build relationships with customers and prospects
+ Identify customer pain points and provide solutions to address them
+ Follow the industry trends and provide ideas and solutions to customers/prospects.
Sales Process Support:
+ Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and RFP responses.
+ Track opportunities and support deal follow-up.
+ Collaborate with delivery and pre-sales for smooth project handover.
Knowledge & Skills Development:
+ Complete structured training on solutions, industries, and compliance.
+ Participate in role-play, shadowing, and live client meetings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
+ Partner with marketing, delivery, and leadership to align sales efforts.
+ Share market intelligence to shape go-to-market strategies.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
+ Qualified meetings and demos booked.
+ Growth in sales pipeline opportunities.
+ Revenue and margin contribution
+ CRM data accuracy.
+ Knowledge assessment scores.
+ Contributions to BU initiatives.
Qualifications:
+ MBA or Master’s in Business, Marketing, or related field.
+ Great team player – demonstrates the ability to lead/collaborate across functions.
+ Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
+ 1-2 years of sales or business development experience (IT/Tech preferred).
Training & Career Path:

+ Formal training in solutions, industries, and sales methodology.
+ 3, 6, and 12-month performance milestones.
