    The Enterprise Fraud Data Strategy Analyst is a part of the Fraud Enterprise Operations team that supports business reporting and analytical needs for all payment channel systems that UMB customers utilize. Within the Fraud Enterprise Operations Team environment, this team interacts with various UMB clients and internal partners to escalate, investigate, and resolve fraud claims multi payments channels and mitigate risks for our customers and for UMB. With our robust training to provide extensive UMB and financial knowledge, the Fraud Enterprise Operations team consists of 3 teams; Prevention, Claims and Data Strategy that all focus on what’s best for our customers and organization.

     

    The Enterprise Fraud Data Strategy Analyst each have a specific and impactful function for our clients and UMB to ensure fraudulent trends are identified while providing appropriate data and reports to meet overall business needs. The Fraud Enterprise Operations team are subject matter experts that assist to protect customers and UMB from fraud across all payment channels.

     

    The Enterprise Fraud Data Strategy Analyst is responsible with working as a member of a multi channel data team and operating systems and tools that are used for creating reports to be utilized by lines of business and senior executives. The Enterprise Fraud Data Strategy Analyst create analysis for managing fraud performance across all payment channels, such as debit and credit card, check, digital online banking, mobile, wire, ACH & P2P. They analyze fraud trends using statistical modeling which includes decisions tree analysis and recommend actionable solutions to the emerging fraud trends. You can expect a fast-paced environment with unpredictable scenarios while maintaining flexibility and adaptability to client needs. Our Fraud Enterprise Prevention Analyst are motivated to be self-driven and enjoy the challenge of learning new skills while controlling the progression of their career. This role focuses on managing fraud prevention strategies across UMB’s payment channels.

     

    The Fraud Enterprise Operations Team is about creating strong connections amongst its associates to develop and maintain a positive working experience. Associates are supported and encouraged to work with their manager to develop roadmaps for opportunity within Fraud Operations and beyond.

    _How you’ll spend your time:_

    + You will use problem solving skills to determine what action needs to be taken to resolve issues and escalate claims of fraud.

    + You will need strong communication skills to ensure everyone is on the same page and has the correct information for claims.

    + You will to have strong attention to detail to look out for fraud trends.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or related field OR 2 years data analytics

    + 1-2 years Card, Check, ACH, and/or Wire fraud strategy development and analysis

    Compensation Range:

    $51,480.00 - $99,330.00
