Job Description

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for developing and executing housekeeping solutions to meet customer needs. Carries out housekeeping duties in overnight-stay locations in accordance with facility standards of cleanliness and appearance.

**COMPENSATION:** The salary range for this position is **$70,000** to **$72,000** . If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

+ Hiring and Training: Recruit, hire, and train housekeeping staff to uphold company cleanliness and safety standards.

+ Scheduling and Labor Management: Create efficient staff schedules, plan for replacements, and assign tasks to ensure adequate coverage, while working within a labor budget.

+ Performance: Monitor staff performance, conduct performance reviews, and provide ongoing training and development.

+ Leadership: Motivate the team, resolve conflicts, and lead by example to foster teamwork and high morale.

+ Quality Control: Regularly inspect guest rooms, public areas, etc. to ensure they meet cleanliness and hygiene standards.

+ Inventory: Manage and monitor stock of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities, and place orders as needed.

+ Equipment Maintenance: Ensure cleaning equipment is in proper working order and arrange for necessary repairs.

+ Safety and Compliance: Implement and enforce all safety and sanitation policies and procedures for staff and the facility.

+ Complaint Resolution: Respond to guest complaints and special requests, ensuring guest satisfaction.

+ Guest Experience: Work to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests and staff.

+ Budgeting: Manage department budgets, control costs and labor, and approve purchases for supplies and equipment.

+ Reporting: Document daily activities, track room status, and report on maintenance issues or staff performance.

+ Collaboration: Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.

+ Ensures compliance with appropriate infection prevention, safety, OSHA, Joint Commission and regulatory standards.

+ Determine the needs of the clients' operation and ensures that the appropriate Aramark resources are engaged.

+ Mentor employees by creating a shared understanding about what needs to be achieved and how it is to be achieved.

+ Reward and recognize employees.

+ Ensure safety and sanitation standards in operation are compliant with Aramark and client's regulations.

Qualifications

+ Requires 1-3 years of related experience and 0-2 years? experience in a management role.

+ Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
