    + Master’s degree in nursing

    + Six years acute or ambulatory clinical experience within the recent past (two years)

    OR

    + Three years of experience in a Nursing Informatics Specialist role within the recent past (two years)

    + Registered Nurse, Texas

    + Nursing Informatics Board Certification (ANCC)

    Job Description

    Nursing Service for UTMB Health (all campus locations). May serve as a resource to ancillary patient care services departments.

     

    In collaboration with Nursing Service, Information Services, and department-based information

     

    resources, participates in all aspects of information technologies, methodologies, and processes in

     

    support of the mission of Nursing Service for UTMB Health Systems, including but not limited to analysis,

     

    design, implementation, education, and support.
