Qualifications:

Required:

+ Bachelor’s degree is required in counseling, education, social work or related field

+ Two years previous experience relating to and working with disadvantaged adults, schools and community agencies

+ Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills

+ Ability to work independently of direct supervision

+ Ability to work simultaneously with multiple projects, deadlines, and agencies

+ Ability to travel extensively within the project service area normally requiring a driver’s license.

Preferred:

+ Preference is given to individuals who have succeeded in overcoming the disadvantages of circumstances like those the population of the project serves.

+ Basic computer proficiency
