*Regional Supervisor Community Medical Education*
*Full-time (40 hours) - Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. Evening and Weekend Availability Required*
*Summary:*
The regional supervisor assists in managing the daily operations of the community education program. The supervisor plays a pivotal role in providing support to the community by completing projects and goals as determined by department leadership, as well as providing guidance and support to instructor staff and affiliates. The supervisor assists with reporting needs, curriculum compliance, quality control, inventory management, record keeping and is a role model for the division. The supervisor will work to become an expert in American Heart Association (AHA)/Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) compliance to direct instructors appropriately and serve as the contact for daily operational needs.
*Responsibilities:*
1.Manages daily curriculum quality and compliancefor the department, creating and tracking survey and benchmark data as required by the American Heart Association and for quality assurance and control.
2. Responsible for training, evaluating, mentoring, and coaching new instructor staff and the department administrative assistant.
3. Serves as subject matter expert and provides instruction as needed.
4. Ensures adequate coverage for staff and community training events, assisting in schedule formation as needed.
5. Responsible for monthly and quarterly departmental reporting, timecard management and assisting in the budgeting process as needed.
6. Completes monthly one to one check ins and staff rounding.
7. Monitors staff and affiliate instructor expirations and alert of renewal process as needed. Creates an implements tracking systems as needed.
8. Completes presentations as needed, serves on Nuvance and community committees, attend networking events as needed.
9. Assists with marketing and PR efforts, invoicing and billing.
10. Works to develop staff, coach and mentor staff in new curriculums.
11. Works on fostering team building, a positive work environment and productivity of direct reports.
12. Maintains and Models Nuvance Health Values.
13. Demonstrates regular, reliable and predictable attendance.
14. Performs other duties as required.

*Education and Experience Requirements: *
Minimum Required: BS in any subject, valid NYS drivers license, high level of customer services skills, computer skills familiar with windows based systems, Microsoft applications (PPT, Word, Excel, Teams), excellent communication skills, highly organized, AHA BLS Instructor Certification, CPI Instructor Certification, CPST Certification, Mental Health First aid Certification, AHA faculty or TC admin experience
Preferred: BS in business or health related field, training in computer systems and applications Required: BS in any subject, AHA BLS Instructor Certification, CPI Instructor Certification, CPST Certification, Mental Health First Aid Certification, supervisory experience, AHA faculty, admin or train the trainer level experience Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including: Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint Easily adapts to new technology and windows-based programs
License, Registration, or Certification Requirements: AHA BLS Instructor Certification and Safe Kids CPST Certification; supervisory experience, Mental Health First Aid Certification Must have a valid drivers license, reliable vehicle and maintain a clean driving record free of major traffic violations.
Working Conditions:
Manual: Some manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity
Occupational: Some occupational risk
Physical Effort: Medium to Heavy effort. May exert up to 35 lbs. force
Physical Environment: Some exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.

Salary Range: $22.94 - $42.61 Hourly, commensurate with experience
