    Job Title: Material Handler

    Job Description

    We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. The role involves working in a cleanroom environment, ensuring the accurate picking and loading of materials for kitting assemblers.

     

    Shift: 2nd Shift (3pm-11:30pm)

     

    Pay: $18/hour (with room for growth)

    Responsibilities

    + Utilize a pick sheet and RF scanner to accurately pick products for kitting assemblers.

    + Load picked materials into grey totes and place them on the conveyor system.

    + Ensure materials are transported into the cleanroom via the conveyor.

    + Perform frequent counting of items to ensure accuracy and precision.

    + Engage in substantial walking and climbing as part of the job duties.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to accurately count and differentiate between quantities (e.g., picking 40 items from a pack of 100).

    + Capacity to stand for 8 hours a day.

    + Capability to lift up to 20 lbs.

    + Proficiency in following written work instructions.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous experience in a warehouse or picking environment is advantageous.

    + Experience in manufacturing or cleanroom settings is beneficial.

    + Prior experience with kit assembly is a plus.

    + Experience in medical kit assembly is valued.

    The Waukegan site is a world-class cleanroom kit assembly facility, characterized by its super clean conditions. Employees work in close quarters and are required to fully gown up to maintain the cleanliness standards of the cleanroom.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
