    About the Role

    As a QA/QC Lab Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of magnet wire products through rigorous testing and analysis. You'll support R&D, production, and quality initiatives in a fast-paced lab environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform quality testing on magnet wire for specifications, design proposals, R&D, and performance.

    + Conduct metallurgical and chemical testing on QA and experimental runs.

    + Prepare and test enamels, thinners, and lubricants.

    + Inspect raw materials and chemical products for compliance.

    + Operate lab instruments and chemical testing equipment.

    + Record and report test results using charts, data entry, and written documentation.

    + Collaborate with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

    + Maintain adherence to quality systems and safety protocols (ISO/QS/TS).

    + Support continuous improvement and production goals.

     

    Skills & Tools

     

    + Laboratory testing & inspection

    + GMP, ISO/QS/TS standards

    + Metallurgy & materials science

    + Analytical chemistry, wet chemistry, titration

    + Calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments

    + Wire identification and quality checks

    + Computer proficiency and data reporting

    Qualifications

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills

    + High attention to detail and organizational ability

    + Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

    + Ability to work independently and in a team

    + Familiarity with quality systems and lab protocols

    Preferred Experience:

    2–3 years in a chemistry lab setting with hands-on experience in viscosity, pH, water testing, chemical mixing, and titration.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
