Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control systems using Beckhoff PCs to control servo motors and VFDs.
Responsibilities
+ Design and program equipment using C++ and C#.
+ Design and develop electrical systems and equipment.
+ Create schematics and layouts for electrical components.
+ Collaborate with engineers to implement design changes.
+ Design and detail control schematics and BOMs.
+ Manage projects from inception to delivery while assisting with troubleshooting issues.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering).
+ 7+ years of experience, open to 3-5 years if experience is strong.
+ Real-time programming experience in C# and C++.
+ Understanding of motion control and its integration with software programming.
+ Experience with SolidWorks, 3D modeling, panel layout, electrical schematics, and electrical design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with SolidWorks.
+ 3D modeling skills.
+ Proficiency in 2D CAD with wiring diagram and panel layout experience.
+ Understanding of PLC/HMI programming (Beckhoff or Siemens preferred).
Work Environment
The role is part of a team of around six engineers responsible for machine design, reporting to the Manager of Product Design and Development. The company fosters a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere with a high retention rate. Approximately 70 engineers are based at this location, working on a mix of standard and custom machinery, focusing on next-generation product development. This is a Permanent position based out of Saint Louis, Missouri.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
