    Now actively hiring for non-CDL drivers for a local produce distribution company located in Hopewell Junction, NY.     **Pay:** $20/hr

    **Shift:** 4:00am-12:00pm - Monday-Friday

    **Location:** Hopewell Junction, NY

    Job Description:

    In this role, candidates will initially work in the warehouse for about 1-2 weeks to become familiar with the products. After this period, they will be assigned a route within the tri-state area to deliver goods. Drivers will operate either a 26' box truck or a Sprinter van, with the workday ending upon completion of the route. This could result in a workday ranging from 5-6 hours to over 8-10 hours.

    Responsibilities:

    + Work in the warehouse for 1-2 weeks to learn about the products.

    + Operate a 26' box truck or Sprinter van to deliver goods within the tri-state area.

    + Complete assigned delivery routes daily.

    + Load and unload products/packages using pallet jacks.

    + Maintain inventory records.

    Essential Skills:

    + Minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience, preferably within the tri-state area.

    + Ability to lift, load, and unload packages using pallet jacks.

    + Clean driving record.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma.

    + Prior experience in driving and warehouse operations.

    + Strong customer service skills.

    + Experience with general labor tasks.

    Work Environment:

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $43680.00/yr.

     

    PTO earned weekly 30 hours = 1 hour of PTO, max 40 hours = 1 week annual.

     

    if not used, it is paid out before end of year.

     

    vacation 1 week after the first year, 2 weeks after 5 years

     

    If the candidate were to purchase anything, they sell at their cost and they must buy the way they sell. Example: if 6pc yogurt or ice cream in a case, you must buy the total 6pc.

     

    Health insurance is technically cheaper on NYS than what they could have offered so they canceled it and for anyone that wanted health insurance, they opted for NYS
