    Job Description

    We are seeking experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics and Lead Level candidates for multiple job sites. Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field. The positions are available at various locations, including Lynchburg and Roanoke, VA.

    Responsibilities

    + Read and interpret blueprints effectively.

    + Lead must be able to Run a crew of 2 to 6 members, depending on experience.

    + Hang ductwork, install equipment, and perform layout tasks.

    + Supervise daily tasks and ensure project deadlines are met.

    + Measure and cut ductwork using measuring instruments and hand tools.

    + Transport tools, materials, equipment, and supplies to work sites.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 3 years of experience in sheet metal and commercial installation.

    + Proficiency in blueprint reading and HVAC sheet metal installation.

    + Experience running a crew with 1-4 helpers is preferred.

    + Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.

    + Journeymen level skills are preferred.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to perform laboring duties related to installation, maintenance, and repair.

    + Capability to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions.

    + Physical ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring stooping, kneeling, and crawling.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lynchburg, Virginia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.
