Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment. The role focuses on ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime of machinery.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
+ Inspect, clean, and lubricate machinery components to prevent failures.
+ Perform diagnostic tests to identify issues and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
+ Use hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and testing equipment accurately and safely.
+ Collaborate with production teams to schedule and coordinate maintenance activities.
+ Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections using a CMMS.
+ Assist in the installation, modification, and relocation of machinery and equipment.
+ Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance needs.
+ Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
+ Identify opportunities for process improvement.
+ Stay updated on advancements in equipment technology and maintenance techniques.
Essential Skills
+ Experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment.
+ Knowledge of PLCs and experience with electrical wiring and control systems.
+ Familiarity with CMMS for tracking and documenting maintenance activities.
+ Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills.
+ Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
+ Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
+ Effective communication skills and teamwork capability.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Proficiency in welding and industrial maintenance repair.
+ Experience with motors and electrical maintenance.
+ Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Work Environment
The role is based at our Modular Mission Critical manufacturing campus in Virginia. The work involves managing the maintenance of facilities and manufacturing tools, utilizing superior mechanical knowledge. You'll collaborate with on-site maintenance staff and qualified contractors, developing a Total Product Maintenance strategy to optimize equipment effectiveness. The position includes day and night shifts, requires documenting and tracking maintenance via the InfraLink management system, and involves developing and maintaining a budget. You will report to the VP of Manufacturing and have a dotted line to our Facilities Service Center Manager.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ruther Glen, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
