Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

We are seeking a detail-oriented **Machinist I** to join our production team. In this role, you will fabricate high-quality parts from a variety of materials, including ferrous and non-ferrous metals, sheet, plate, and structural steels. You’ll operate a range of machines and tools, ensuring that all work meets established productivity, safety, and quality standards.
This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, thrives in a team setting, and is eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
+ Fabricate parts from engineering specifications, drawings, and blueprints.
+ Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality compliance.
+ Work closely with operations, engineering, sales, purchasing, and supervisors to coordinate production, resolve design concerns, and support continuous improvement.
+ Assist in estimating time requirements for projects and meeting established production targets.
+ Support customer audits and visits by demonstrating quality standards and workmanship.
+ Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while following all safety guidelines.
+ Contribute as a reliable team member by collaborating across departments to meet production goals.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.
+ At least 1 year of experience operating shop tools, machines, or related equipment.
Skills & Abilities
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
+ Skilled in the use of precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, protractors, radius gauges, etc.).
+ Proficient with basic shop equipment such as grinders, drill presses, band saws, hydraulic presses, polishers, sanders, and sandblasters.
+ Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work.
+ Effective time management skills with the ability to optimize setup and minimize rework.
+ Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

**Pay Details:** $29.29 per hour
