    **Location:** Lyman, NE

    **Pay Rate:** $ 18.00/hour

    **Shift:** 1st Shift- Monday - Thursday with OT on Fridays

     

    Adecco is now hiring for a **Maintenance Mechanic I** in **Lyman, NE** on **1st shift** .     Position Summary:

    The **Maintenance Mechanic I** is responsible for performing a wide range of facility and equipment maintenance tasks. This includes everything from replacing light fixtures to assisting with machine setup, repairs, and preventive maintenance.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    + Assist with machinery maintenance, repairs, and rebuilding

    + Fabricate parts using machine shop tools and equipment

    + Conduct preventive maintenance following manuals, diagrams, and engineering specs

    + Respond to maintenance inquiries and provide assistance as needed

    + Perform general facility maintenance and repairs

    Additional Responsibilities:

    This job description covers the primary duties, but additional tasks may be assigned as needed. Responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice. **Regular and reliable attendance is essential.**

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    + High School Diploma or GED equivalent

    Preferred:

    + 2 years of related maintenance experience

    Physical Requirements:

    **Strength Level:** Heavy Work

    + Occasionally lift/move 50–100 lbs

    + Frequently lift/move 25–50 lbs

    + Constantly lift/move 10–20 lbs

    Frequently Required:

    + Reaching, handling, grasping, and fine finger movements

    + Visual focus for close-up tasks

    + Judging distances/spatial awareness

    Occasionally Required:

    + Climbing ladders/stairs, maintaining balance

    + Stooping, crouching, kneeling, crawling

    + Sensing texture/size by touch

    + Oral communication and hearing

    + Adjusting vision for sharp focus and color identification
