Job Title: Technician

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Mechanical Installers to join our team. This role involves installing chutes, mechanical systems, and HMIs using hand and power tools. The position requires the ability to work at heights up to 6 feet and to follow blueprints and SOPs meticulously. Additionally, cable management skills are essential, as you will be installing wires and cables, working with both large and small parts.

Responsibilities

+ Install chutes, mechanical systems, and HMIs.

+ Utilize hand and power tools effectively.

+ Work safely at heights up to 6 feet.

+ Adhere strictly to blueprints and SOPs.

+ Manage and install cables and interfaces.

+ Perform wiring tasks with precision.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

+ Mechanical inclination and experience as a Mechanical Technician.

+ Ability to perform heavy lifting and general labor tasks.

+ Experience with construction, carpentry, and industrial repair.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Quality assurance and troubleshooting skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Extensive experience in physical labor.

+ Familiarity with installation work.

+ Previous experience working on Amazon projects.

+ Strong attendance record.

Work Environment

Work inside a large Amazon facility with numerous moving parts. Collaborate with PAC Advisors and Aerotek Services. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, and a work shirt. The work schedule is Monday to Friday with occasional shifts on Saturdays, working 8 to 10 hours per day.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Louisville, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
