    Job Summary and Responsibilities

     

    As a House Supervisor at Community Hospital of San Bernardino, you will oversee hospital operations during your assigned shift, ensuring the seamless coordination of patient care and nursing staff across all units. Your leadership will be critical in assessing resource needs, maintaining compliance with policies and procedures, and providing guidance to clinical teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Supervise and coordinate nursing personnel across patient care units to ensure smooth hospital operations.

    + Assess and allocate resources as needed to maintain optimal patient care.

    + Oversee patient care delivery, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards.

    + Monitor and document staffing levels, addressing any gaps or issues in real time.

    + Provide input on employee performance, coaching and supporting staff development.

    + Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.

    + Step in as needed to provide direct patient care and support critical patient situations.

    Job Requirements

    + Associate's Degree in Nursing (e.g., ADN).

    + Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience and one (1) year of leadership experience.

    + Registered Nursing License (RN) in state of practice, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS), other credentials or credential modules may be required.

    Pay Range

    $50.39 - $76.21 /hour
