    THE POSITION: Join our esteemed medical institution as the Internal Medicine Program Director, where you will lead and inspire a dynamic team of educators and clinicians dedicated to excellence in medical education and patient care. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the internal medicine residency program, ensuring the highest standards of training and fostering an environment of innovation and growth.     Must be licensed to practice medicine in North Carolina and hold appropriate medical staff appointment.

     

    Must be board certified in internal medicine or an internal medicine subspecialty by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the AOA through the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM).

     

    Must demonstrate leadership experience of at least three years in the field of medical education as well as administrative ability and sufficient expertise to implement educational programs.

     

    Must be reviewed and approved by the Sponsoring Institutions Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC) and review committee.
