Job Summary and Responsibilities

The person doing this job is responsible for a variety of tasks that lead to a high level of customer satisfaction in the most cost-effective manner. The Surgical Technician assists the Surgical Team in providing high quality health care to the patient that requires surgical intervention. He/she applies basic knowledge of aseptic technique, principles of sterilization and understanding of the purpose and use of instruments.

Our new birth center offers next-generation comfort and technologically equipped care to support growing families with optimized experiences and outcomes.​ We have modernize​d our maternity services, including labor and delivery, antepartum, postpartum, and our 24-bed Level III NICU​ to create spacious, nurturing environments for the 2,400 deliveries and 500 NICU admissions we handle each year​.

Job Requirements

+ Requires a minimum of two (2) to three (3) years scrubbing experience in General, GYN, Ortho and Gu.

+ BLS card required

+ Certified Surgical Technician certification preferred.

+ Familiar with the different surgical equipment and instrumentation and its functions.

+ Requires close concentration and high degree of accuracy and organization to prepare, set up and assists on surgical procedures.

Pay Range

$33.10 - $41.37 /hour
