Our Advanced Manufacturing team is looking for interns with an interest in designing state-of-the-art facilities and solving issues at the heart of our clients' business. This internship could be in Appleton, WI, Greenville, SC, or Pittsburgh, PA.
Architecture Internships at Jacobs provide college students the opportunity to gain real-world experience, working in a dynamic, multidisciplinary professional environment applying knowledge and skills learned through their academic curriculums in a business environment.
As an intern with Jacobs you will work alongside dedicated, experienced, and talented design professionals. You’ll be immersed in the process of creating multiple facility designs and drawings through freehand sketches and the use of design software such as AutoCAD and Revit. Alongside senior designers, you’ll be able to scale, model, and construct world-class work for our clients across the globe. You will help us design state-of-the-art data center, heavy industrial, research & development, and specialized manufacturing facilities, powering our virtual world today and into the future. You'll be part of a team performing conceptual, layout, and detailed designs while coordinating design and construction activities, studies, and analyses.

* Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program for Architecture, Architectural Engineering or another closely related field
* Interest in designing facilities
* Ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas in an accessible way, both in person and in writing
* Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future
Ideally, you’ll also have:
* Previous internship experience with a design/consulting firm or manufacturing company
* Familiarity with Revit or other 3D software
