    Description

    We are seeking an experienced Inventory Management professional to join our IT Network team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and analytical skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This is a hands-on role that encompasses inventory management, data accuracy, reporting, and business continuity planning (BCP) support.

    Key Qualifications:

    + 5+ years of experience in Asset/Inventory Management.

    + Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.

    + Excellent communication skills, including timely responsiveness across internal teams.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including V-Lookup formulas, drop-down lists, and other basic formulas).

    + Extreme attention to detail and accuracy.

    + Sense of urgency and ability to work effectively under pressure.

    + Strong data management, analysis, and research skills.

    + Ability to collaborate effectively within a small, close-knit team.

    + Light lifting required (up to 20 lbs).

    + Willingness to travel (5-10% annually).

    Requirements

    Responsibilities:

    Inventory Management:

    + Oversee all active inventory for the IT Network team and manage the full lifecycle of equipment.

    + Handle the complete Purchase Order (PO) process, including submission of requests (software, SAP material creation, transfer PO, etc.).

    + Organize and maintain inventory rooms while utilizing inventory management systems to accurately track orders, deliveries, inventory levels, and goods/materials.

    + Maintain Excel trackers and AM forms, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.

    + Review requests for accuracy and process transfers, reversals, and reclassifications as required.

    + Coordinate hardware returns to vendors and manage integration efforts for network devices from newly acquired companies.

    + Prepare for and participate in ITAM audits, along with disposal-related activities such as Change Requests for end-of-life equipment pickups.

    + Audit network team tickets, address data quality issues, and collaborate with ITAM and Remedy teams to enforce policies and procedures.

    + Respond promptly to inquiries and requests, monitor company KPIs/KBOs, and adapt documentation and procedures as needed.

    + Coordinate team schedules to ensure full coverage and support.

    Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Management Support:

    + Administer the BCP application and oversee yearly updates (Runbook, BIA, technical testing, and business testing).

    + Assist with audits and maintain all BCP plans while supporting departmental managers and critical BCP events.

    + Coordinate and grow the current BCP plan, recording vital information and sustaining backup datacenter operations (located in Carrollton, TX).

    + Submit access requests, ensuring adherence to protocol.
