    Overview

    The Decision Scientist provides expertise in understanding and improving the judgment and decision-making of individuals, groups, and organizations. Leveraging principles of psychology, data science, and analytics, the Decision Scientist enhances business processes, analytic rigor, and operational workflows. This role supports mission success by evaluating and redesigning decision-making processes, developing training, and prescribing workflow modifications that improve productivity and analytic performance.

    Responsibilities

    + Apply data science, statistics, and behavioral science to support HUMINT operations and organizational decision-making.

    + Use statistical tools, data visualization, and predictive modeling to generate actionable insights.

    + Conduct workflow testing, evaluation, and redesign to improve analytic processes and performance.

    + Support mission planning and performance measurement through quantitative and qualitative analysis.

    + Integrate open-source and classified data to produce intelligence products that inform decision-making.

    + Assist leadership with policy planning, training development, and strategic workflow recommendations.

    Qualifications

    + Minimum of 12 years of directly related experience, with at least a portion occurring within the last 2 years.

    + Active TS/SCI.

    + Master’s degree in a field related to the labor category from an accredited institution.

    + Substitution: A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and an additional 5 years of related senior-level experience (totaling 17 years) may substitute for the Master’s degree.
