About the position

This position will focus on developing and supporting the interior furnishings of the aircraft.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities in Completions Engineering
+ Assist in completing the engineering package to meet aircraft specifications, Gulfstream quality standards, and FAA regulations.
+ Provide technical assistance to engineering staff and contribute by completing engineering tasks on schedule.
+ Using company procedures, apply engineering knowledge to resolve aircraft related issues.
+ Ability to analyze a business process, work with team’s input, and develop an optimized solution.
+ Collaborate with various departments to complete engineering tasks.
+ Develop knowledge of company products and aircraft systems.
+ Communicate effectively across multiple organizations, including Operations, Engineering, Sales, Material, and Procurement.
Education Requirement
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following disciplines:
+ Aerospace Engineering
+ Mechanical Engineering
+ Electrical Engineering
+ Manufacturing Engineering

+ Enrolled as a full-time student at time of application, actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or above.
+ Complete their freshman year by the time the internship starts.
+ Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (without rounding); must be listed on resume.
+ Minimum 12-14 week requirement (summer); 14-16 week requirement (spring and fall).
+ Must be onsite; this is not a remote position.
+ Must have reliable transportation.
