About the Position

The Director of Nursing serves as the nursing clinical leader for the facility and is responsible for leading and managing health and wellness along with coordination of care and services to residents within the facility, Responsible for oversight and implementation of all Care programs, regulatory compliance, and performance management.

Job Duties

As the Director of Nursing, your primary responsibility will be overseeing nursing services within the community. You will develop and implement clinical policies that meet regulatory standards and reflect our commitment to the highest quality of care. The Nursing Director will also be responsible for mentoring and supporting the nursing staff in professional development while fostering a collaborative, team-oriented environment, along with cultivating strong relationships with residents, families, and staff to enhance the overall experience in the community.

Job Requirements:

+ Current Registered Nurse-BSN, licensed from the District of Columbia.

+ (2) years of experience as Director of Nursing and/or RN-Supervisor.

+ Prefer experience in Skilled Nursing Care and Memory Care Unit.
