    Position: Anticipated Part-time Special Education Teaching Assistant (multiple positions) Location: District Wide, grade level K-12 Hours: Expected hours are between: Elementary School: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm Middle School: 8:30 am – 3:00 pm High School: 8:00 am – 2:30 pm Effective: Immediately - End of School Year Ten-month position, subject to annual reappointment Duties: Support teachers and assist special education students. Provide intervention services directly to individual students and in small group settings.

     

    Rate: New applicants: $25.56/hr Current employees: In accordance with paraprofessional agreement

    Job Qualifications

    Applicant MUST be NYS teacher or teaching assistant certified. Minimum of 60 college credits is preferred. ABA experience and experience working with students with autism is highly preferred.
