    Education and Experience Requirements

     

    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related curriculum required. Certified in area of expertise. Master's in Tax a plus. Proficient in the use of tax and accounting database software. 6 years Prior related experience required. in area of expertise.

    Position Purpose:

    Applies principles of tax law and shall be considered a subject matter expert in said field of expertise. Must be strategically focused and process improvement minded.

    Job Description

    Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

    Essential Functions:

    + Analyze and maintain records.

    + Consult with other tax professionals and members of the Gulfstream organization.

    + Compile facts, analyze applicable tax law, and prepare memos of tax findings.

    + Participate and assist in the identification of tax strategies.

    + Support and lead as necessary efforts of the GD organization.

    + Must be seen as expert in area of focus.

    + Strong interpersonal skills.

     

    Perform other duties as assigned.

     

    A credit history check from a national credit bureau will be conducted for all candidates for this position including new hires and current employees seeking promotion or transfer.
