Job Summary:
As a Paramedic, you will have senior medic status on the field and provide quality care to sick or injured patients. You will demonstrate appropriate assessment skills, follow established care protocols, and collaborate with other health care team members.
You will also operate and maintain ProMedica Transport Network (PTN) vehicles to make sure they are safe and ready for use.

REQUIREMENTS
+ Education: Education: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
+ Skills:
+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instruction, procedure manuals and follow HIPAA regulations
+ Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
+ Basic math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
+ Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
+ Must be able to maintain composure and utilize tact in stressful situations
+ Certification: Must be a certified EMT Paramedic (EMT-P) in the State of Michigan; Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
+ Years of Experience: 2 years ED patient care experience including triage experience preferred.
+ Certification:
+ National Registry of EMT’s Paramedic
+ ATLS, Advanced Trauma Life Support
+ TNCC, Trauma Nursing Core Curriculum
