Description

**Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Marine Fi** **tters** for projects located in and around **Paducah, KY** . This is a first or second shift opportunity with a pay of **up to $24/hour** based on experience **plus $100/Per Diem** to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. If you are a Marine Fitter eager to master your skills while working alongside our accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

+ Perform repair work on towboats and river barges

+ Assist with new construction projects as needed

+ Work primarily with stainless steel; some carbon steel work required

+ Layout modules and assemblies from blueprints for barge, towboat, and marine equipment construction

Requirements:

+ Able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings

+ Ability to pass a fitter test

+ Able to pass a drug screen, physical, and background check

+ Basic tools of the trade

+ Standard PPE
