The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user-centered design, accessibility standards (508 compliance), and modern web technologies.

    Responsibilities

    + Design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for custom web applications.

    + Develop new UI components for various DEA applications.

    + Ensure all designs meet 508 compliance and accessibility standards.

    + Collaborate with developers to create wireframes, storyboards, mockups, and prototypes.

    + Enhance web application navigation, graphics, and overall user experience.

    + Create and maintain style guides and design standards.

    + Gather UI design requirements from end-users and business analysts.

    + Communicate technical requirements to development teams.

    + Conduct usability testing and interface functionality reviews.

    + Actively participate in Agile/Scrum team activities.

    + Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    + 3+ years implementing and testing 508 compliance standards.

    + 5+ years of expert-level experience in web design standards.

    + 5+ years of experience with HTML/CSS design.

    + 4+ years working with version control systems such as MS Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Git.

    + Active Secret Clearance is required.

    + Industry-recognized UI/UX certifications.

     

    Estimated Salary/Wage

     

    USD $110,000.00/Yr. Up to USD $120,000.00/Yr.
