Quality Engineer – QMS (NO C2C OR THIRD PARTY)

+ **Location:** Deland, Florida – 100% ONSITE ROLE

+ **Type** : W2 contract (NO C2C OR THIRD PARTY)

+ **Duration:** Estimated to end - 3/31/2026 ( Contract extension potential)

+ **Pay Rate** – Negotiable depending on DIRECT-related experience

Responsibilities:

+ Knowledge of ISO 9001, (current rev) to aid in maintaining QMS

+ Knowledge of customer quality inquires, investigate and perform root-cause analysis on customer issues and effectively resolve them (CAPA) (8D)

+ Continuous Improvement Activities, Lean Manufacturing Principles, 5S, Kaizen

+ Manage and perform Internal QMS Audits

+ Material Review Board Quality Representative

+ Perform data collection & analysis; SPC and DOE analysis

+ Measurement system analysis (MSA) and Gauge R&R

Requirements:

+ B.S degree in Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline

+ Prefer 5 years’ experience in Quality Engineering

+ Technical QMS knowledge – Certified Quality Engineer or other ASQ Quality Certification preferred or Automotive QMS experience preferred (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans)

+ Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP software

+ Exceptional communication skills, Ability to interact with all areas, Team player
