Basic Job Functions:

Responsibilities for a Flange Operator include but are not limited to:

+ Obtain GMAW 1G certification

+ Use GMAW process

+ Safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other equipment as needed.

+ Read and interpret shop drawings.

+ Perform tasks as directed by the Line Supervisor and/or the Line Group Leader.

+ Understand order processing (shop releases and run orders).

+ Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US (Nucor Buildings Group Texas will not sponsor the need for a visa now or in the future).

Minimum Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

+ Be able to obtain GMAW 1G certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ GMAW experience

+ Possess basic understanding of metal building systems fabrication
