    Description

    Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Staff Accountant to join our Full-Time Engagement Professionals (FTEP) program. The FTEP program is an exciting opportunity designed for professionals seeking a steady role that combines career growth, learning opportunities, and exposure to diverse industries. As a Staff Accountant in the FTEP program, you will work on a variety of client engagements to support their accounting and financial operations while gaining hands-on experience in their field.

    Responsibilities:

    + Perform accurate and timely data entry for accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger transactions

    + Assist in bank and account reconciliations, ensuring proper documentation and resolution of discrepancies.

    + Prepare journal entries and maintain account records for monthly and yearly closings.

    + Support the preparation of financial statements and reports under supervision.

    + Help compile budgets and forecasts by collaborating with senior accountants and finance teams.

    + Conduct variance analysis, providing details on deviations from budgets or plans

    + Comply with all applicable regulations and adherence to company guidelines, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.

    + Engage in quality control tasks, such as reviewing financial data and assisting with audits or assessments.

    + Foster professional relationships while serving Robert Half's diverse client base.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

    + Strong understanding of debits, credits, and accounting principles.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with accounting software is a plus.

    + Detail-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.

    + Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with teams and clients.

    + Enthusiasm for continuous learning and adapting to varied client environments.
