    Job Description

    We are seeking a detailed and experienced Framer who possesses the ability to lead a framing crew. This role is ideal for someone looking to step into a leadership position, potentially taking over from the current foreman who is nearing retirement. The ideal candidate will have the skills to teach and mentor others, working on frame additions, renovations, and interior projects. In the future, there is potential to expand into framing the entire exterior of houses, should the right person join our team.

    Responsibilities

    + Review and understand project plans and specifications.

    + Lay out and construct rough framing for complex residential buildings.

    + Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and join materials.

    + Follow all safety protocols and adhere to all building codes.

    + Communicate effectively with other members of the construction team.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 3 years of experience as a Framing Carpenter.

    + Strong knowledge of framing techniques and building codes.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.

    + Experience with rough carpentry and framing for residential buildings.

    + A commitment to safety and quality craftsmanship.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
