Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Associate - 1st Shift!
Job Description
Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Associate, where you will be responsible for efficiently managing the shipping process, operating machinery, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee the shipping process according to work instructions and parameter sheets.
+ Operate tow motors to transfer finished products from the warehouse to the shipping dock.
+ Unload trucks and railcars, placing products in their respective areas.
+ Load trucks and railcars efficiently.
+ Record and report data as required.
+ Process necessary paperwork for customer shipments.
+ Notify appropriate personnel upon receipt of materials.
+ Follow First-In-First-Out (F.I.F.O.) process.
+ Maintain the warehouse in an orderly fashion.
+ Report any safety and quality issues to the designated personnel.
+ Perform additional duties as requested, adhering to contractual provisions.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
+ Forklift operation experience within the last two years.
+ Ability to assist production if required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in hot work environments such as glass, textile, or automotive factories.
+ Experience in injection molding or plastics.
+ Proficiency in forklift operation.

Work Environment
The work environment is a large Tier 1 automotive client facility with a hot factory setting, which can exceed 100 degrees inside when it's 90 degrees outside. Candidates will attend orientation on the first shift for an entire week. Multiple shifts are available, each with two breaks and a lunch period. Overtime may be required. Once hired, employees join the union, which offers numerous benefits.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NORTH BALTIMORE, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.21 - $18.21/hr.
